Linda Maurer as recently appointed global account manager, southwest of Benchmark Hospitality.

1. What are you looking forward to the most in your new role? 

I am really looking forward to establishing great relationships with all of my new colleagues and introducing clients to all of the amazing properties Benchmark has to offer.

2. How do you think past experiences have prepared you for this role?

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work for some wonderful properties and companies with stellar GSOs. These strong partnerships with GSOs and all third parties have taught me invaluable lessons that I’ll surely take with me in this new role.   

3. How did you get into the industry?

I began working part time at Four Seasons during college and found this industry to be both fun and rewarding, so I continued to pursue the hospitality world.

4. What are you hoping to achieve in your new role? 

I am hoping to achieve wild success for both Benchmark and my clients.

5. What do you enjoy most about the industry? 

I seriously enjoy the deep connections I’ve formed with both clients and colleagues, along with the healthy dose of daily fun.
