Lindsey Lewis was recently named resort sales manager of Glenwood Hot Springs Resort.

1. What are you looking forward to the most in your new role?

I have been the resort sales manager at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort for just over two months, and I’m really looking forward to working with a highly skilled professional team and representing a property that is near and dear to my heart. My family and I enjoy every aspect of Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, from soaking in the world’s largest hot springs pool to yoga classes at the athletic club to a relaxing massage at the award-winning Spa of the Rockies. I am excited to share those experiences and my passion for this Resort with our guests. The ambiance at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort is peaceful yet fun and definitely brings out the kid in everyone.

2. How do you think past experiences have prepared you for this role?

Some of my past experiences include reservations agent at the Lodge at Vail, group sales coordinator at the St. Regis Resort Aspen as well as destination marketing for Glenwood Springs when I was the tourism marketing manager at the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association. These past experiences are the most relevant to being successful in my role, not only to generate revenue for Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, but to create and implement new programs that will engage our business partners and reward locals in many ways.

3. How did you get into the industry?

I started in the hospitality industry in 2005 after I graduated with a degree in communication from CU-Denver, and my husband and I moved to Vail. Prior to working at the Lodge at Vail, I worked as an intern at Plum TV where I learned a lot about shooting and editing video.

4. What are you hoping to achieve in your new role?

In my role as the Resort Sales Manager for Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, I will identify new opportunities, develop and foster new business relationships, implement and track the success of new programs, reach new markets, increase our visibility and outreach within the community and most importantly help to create a culture that is guest-centric, consistently delivering the highest quality customer service.

5. What do you enjoy most about the industry?

It truly is just another day in paradise for those of us that are fortunate enough to live and work in such a magical place, and we want that same feeling to resonate with each and every guest that visits beautiful Glenwood Springs.

1. How do you go above and beyond?

Our guests have a high expectation of service from The Broadmoor. Every team member strives to exceed that expectation; but, as I found out early on, the small things matter just as well.
