Robert Haas was recently appointed as the chief administrative officer of PCMA.

1. What are you looking forward to the most in your new role?

Robert: I look forward to leveraging my experience in data and marketing to help PCMA continue its success as a global leader in the business events industry.

2. How did you get into the industry?

Robert: I first joined PCMA in 2014 after spending more than a decade at Tribune Direct where I worked in direct response marketing. I rejoined PCMA in 2018 as its first chief innovation officer responsible for supporting new product and service initiatives. I’ve always been in a role where I used data, content and personalized experiences to help companies develop an audience-focused strategy.

3. What are you hoping to achieve in your new role?

Robert: I want to continue leveraging data to determine best practices in business events and how our industry can drive global economic and social progress.

4. What do you enjoy most about the industry?

Robert: Business events are not just about conventions and meetings. They are about education, community and social good. It’s not just about growing professionally, but also personally and making the world a better place as a result.
