Hilton Portland Undergoing Multimillion Dollar Renovation

Hilton Portland is set to undergo a huge transformation that is scheduled to be complete in spring 2017. Renovations will include updates to the guest rooms and lobby, a new restaurant and bar, and meeting space.

The 782-room hotel, located in the heart of downtown Portland, is in the early stages of its renovation. They will first update their existing 60,000 square feet of meeting space, and relocating the fitness room. They've also added a 5,500-square-foot ballroom and additional breakout space.

Eden Resorts & Suites to Operate Independently

Effective Dec. 1, Eden Resorts & Suites will cease to operate as a Best Western Premier brand and operate independently. This will allow them to enhance the local experience without having to adhere to generic nationwide protocols.

The Lancaster, Pa.-based hotel announced this after completing a 10-year renovation that cost $50 million. The hotel features 300 rooms and suites, two award-winning restaurants, a cocktail lounge, indoor and outdoor pools, and an outdoor recreation complex and expanded fitness center.

Antlers at Vail’s General Manager Retires

Rob LeVine, the general manager of Antlers at Vail, has retired from his 29-year tenure at the hotel. In his honor, they have renamed the conference center after him.

“After all the many wonderful and gratifying experiences that I've enjoyed in the hospitality industry over the years, none outweighs the incredible honor of having the Antlers meeting facility bearing my name,” says LeVine. “Very simply, I am fortunate beyond words.”

Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City Joins Radisson Brand

Radisson, a world-renowned hotel brand, has partnered with The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City. Now known as The Claridge—A Radisson Hotel, the hotel was built in 1930; the 24-story hotel was known as the Skyscraper by the Sea and is a landmark reminiscent of the Jazz Age.

Ocean Place Resort & Spa Completes $4 Million Spa Renovation

Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, N.J., has completed its $4 million renovation on their spa. The remodeled space now offers oceanfront views of the Atlantic, spa treatments, a full-service salon, a fitness center, indoor pool with a heated soaking tub and an outdoor pool with a Jacuzzi.

The Spa at Ocean Place offers a range of ocean-inspired treatments including massages, scrubs, wraps, herbal soaks and facials. Popular treatments include the Fire & Ice Facial and a selection of Sebastian Kneipp Herbal Soaks.

Carneros Resort and Spa Rebranded and Transformed

Previously known as The Carneros Inn, Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif., has unveiled their rebranding and renovations.

After 51 years of business, Geja’s Café  in Chicago has just unveiled it’s much-anticipated transformation. Updates include new dining chairs and silverware, and a transformed outdoor space with three fire pits.

Giselle Koy, an Austin native and UT alum, purchased the building eight years ago. “I was so moved by this building, a true homage to Austin’s amazing past,” says Koy. “I wanted to keep that great Austin vibe and add in some of my design inspirations like the famous Palazzo Fortuny in Venice and Julian Schnabel's Palazzo in New York City.”
