The Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center recently announced the completion of a $6.2 million renovation of its guest suits and corridors. All 228 redesigned rooms contain artwork featuring Colorado landscapes and landmarks paired with a new color scheme of gold and gray with pops of bright blue. All revamped suits include full-sized kitchens with granite countertops, refrigerators and dishwashers, along with updated bathrooms and living rooms.

The Residence Inn by Marriot Denver City is located in the heart of downtown and provides 1,742 square feet of urban event space. Amenities include free high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast and a fitness center.

IACC, a global meetings association, recently announced it will create its first-ever experiential showcase of its Meeting Room of the Future research at MPI World Education Congress (WEC). The installation will allow attendees to explore how meetings and conferences are evolving and will focus on three different areas: visioneering, solve and show me.

Over a period of 13 years, Colorado Meetings + Events has hosted two “Best of” award celebrations at the Denver Art Museum (DAM). So it was fun to get back to the museum in January 2019 to hear about and see DAM’s $150 revitalization project underway and experience an exhibition that I’ve been hearing so much about.

U.S. News & World Report recently released its “Best Hotels” list for 2019 and 22 of BENCHMARK’s hotels and resorts were named to the list.

Highlighted honors includ three silver badge winners that placed in the top 30 percent of all ranked luxury hotels within a destination. They include Villas of Grand Cypress in Orlando, Benchmark’s newest hotel, La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, and Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort in Curacao.
