In the 1990s, Twin Peaks was one of the most talked-about television series. Set in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington, many of the series’ exterior shots were filmed in the very real and very charming communities of Snoqualmie, North Bend and Fall City. As a toast to the upcoming rebirth of the series on Showtime, we suggest trying Salish Lodge & Spa’s Dale Cooper, named for the show’s character played by Washington native Kyle MacLachlan.

INGREDIENTS
—1.25 oz. Batch 206 Gin
—1 oz. Bee’s Knees Juice (clove- and cardamom-infused Salish Honey)
—1 oz. sweet and sour mixer
—2 oz. Salish Honey Hard Cider

DIRECTIONS
1. Add the first three ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
3. Pour into glass, then top with cider and enjoy!

A unique mix of bitters creates a treat for the senses in this seasonal sip from Corktown’s Two James Spirits. While typically busy hosting tours and private events or slinging craft cocktails in its tasting room, the distillery’s team has shifted its efforts during the coronavirus outbreak. It’s been producing hand sanitizer for hospitals, police and fire departments across the Detroit metro, while lifting spirits with creative curbside cocktail kits.
