INGREDIENTS

— Pineapple
— Cilantro
— Jalapeños
— 1 oz. tequila reposado
— 1 oz. mezcal
— 1 oz. agave
— 1 oz. lime juice

DIRECTIONS

Muddle the pineapple, cilantro and jalapeños, and add the mezcal, lime juice, agave and tequila. Shake, double strain and serve over fresh ice. Garnish with jalapeño and pineapple.

Created by a bartender at Sheraton Dallas Hotel’s popular restaurant Open Palette, the Local Apple cocktail is made with whiskey handcrafted by Dallas distillery Herman Marshall.

To make the Local Apple, combine:

— 2 oz. Herman Marshall Whiskey

— 1 oz. egg white

— ¾ oz. lemon juice
