Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville is offering several breakaway packages to corporate groups staying at The Grand American Hotel in nearby Salt Lake City.

CAMPFIRE COLLECTIVE

Ride the Needles Gondola to the top of the mountain for a reception and live acoustic music before a Western buffet with meats like elk loin, buffalo brisket and American Wagyu prime rib served with all the trimmings. End the night being serenaded by cowboy poets while making s’mores and enjoying storytellers and yard games.

DINNER & A MOVIE

This faux Hollywood experience includes photos taken on the red carpet with a Wasatch Mountain backdrop before a celebratory reception and dinner. Next, head to the lawn and view a motion pic - ture of the group’s choice and savor live music under the stars.

FOOD & FLOR ALS

Snowbasin Resort’s culinary team helps organize either a Salsa Contest (les - son, team salsa-making and judging) or Shellfish 101 (demonstration, preparation and shellfish-themed dinner). Another option is a Centerpiece Scavenger Hunt, where groups head out with guides to forage the trails for flora and other items needed to create a centerpiece for a campfire dinner.

Z BAR, the globally inspired cocktail lounge atop The Peninsula overlooking Michigan Avenue, offers customized batch cocktails for groups in an upscale, but relaxed atmosphere. The individual responsible for dreaming up and preparing these communal beverages is Vlad Novikov, who’s official title is director of cocktails and culture. Novikov’s travels frequently inform his mixology.

This summer, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is debuting $25 million in expansions. The new Explorer Cabins at Tenaya Lodge features a central gathering building, communal outdoor fire pits and more than 50 two-bedroom cabins. Also, the lodge recently introduced new Glacier Point at Sunset Tours that run from May through September and combine the expert knowledge of a local guide with the beauty of Yosemite National Park. Groups can enjoy wine, cheese and crackers or their own picnic dinner while enjoying the alpenglow.
