SOPHY, formerly known as Sophy Hyde Park, is giving visitors the tastiest bite of Chicago with its "48 Hours in Hyde Park" package. The package, which began this past winter, features all of Chicago's best sides. From its culinary and bar scene to its museums and rich history, SOPHY's package allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of Hyde Park and beyond.

With such a wide array of museums and cultural activities in Hyde Park, it is known as one of Chicago's most dynamic and culturally diverse areas. Sites like the University of Chicago, Barack Obama Presidential Center and the site of the 1893 Columbian Exposition are highlighted in the 48 Hours in Hyde Park package. Its museums include the Museum of Science & Industry, the DuSable Museum of African American History and Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House, which just reopened to the public this spring after an $11 million restoration.

Hyde Park is also a very walkable part of town, so it's easy for guests to explore all that it has to offer. On 53rd Street, where SOPHY is located, there is a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops filled with Chicago culture and history. Hopeless romantic? Right across the street is where Michelle and Barack Obama shared their first kiss, which is now commemorated with a plaque on a boulder.

Though 48 Hours in Hyde Park is primarily targeted toward newbies in the Windy City, Chicago natives might be interested, too. Because many Chicagoans don't know this part of the city very well, it can be a revelation for them, too.

Most "visit Chicago" packages tend to focus on more popular areas in the city like the Loop and adjacent neighborhoods. Because no one else is really talking about the incredible cultural treasures of the South Side, SOPHY is taking visitors--both new and old--to the hidden gem of Hyde Park.

For more than 125 years, the historic Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been celebrating local art. Each year, it hosts an Artist-in-Residence and a Narrator-in-Residence art program. The artists stay at the hotel to work on their respective artforms and interact with guests.

Discover Puerto Rico, the island’s first-ever Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), has reported that in the past year, the island had its highest revenue and visitors numbers of all time. This is largely due to the DMO’s campaign “CoverTheProgress,” which encourages media outlets to highlight Puerto Rico’s progress and beauty, rather than the devastation.
