Ahead of the summer season, the beloved Beach House Hilton Head Island in Hilton Head, South Carolina, will unveil several updates including a full transformation of the region’s only on-the-beach live music venue, Tiki Hut; a completely reimagined and expanded resort pool; and a brand-new open-air pavilion ideal for corporate events and more. Providing endless sun, sand, and good vibes, the property will welcome the upcoming summer season with new programming—including the offering of brunch for the first time in the history of Tiki Hut.
“We are so excited to share the latest and greatest version of Beach House to our loyal guests and new visitors,” says General Manager Jay Wiendl, in a prepared statement. “Expect the same great beach vibes that so many have come to know and enjoy over the years, now with a refreshed look and added experiences.”
A Hilton Head Island institution that opened in 1977, the iconic Tiki Hut is currently undergoing a full transformation, bringing an all-new look to the Coligny Beach Park entrance. The new design will expand the Tiki Hut structure perpendicular to the coastline to maximize ocean views, in addition to offering a new bar, fire pits, fresh decking, and the relocation of the stage. For the first time in its 50 years, Tiki Hut will host a weekend brunch service featuring live music, Bloody Marys, and Lowcountry-inspired dishes. Offering music seven days a week (weather permitting), the beachfront bar will be expanding its roster of performers as well as its hours this year so beachgoers and hotel guests can enjoy the three daily sets year-round.
Meanwhile, attendees staying at Beach House Hilton Head Island will have access to a fully updated and expanded resort pool area, providing more space to relax and soak up the sun. The deck will offer additional trees for shade, cabanas for poolside lounging, and an all-new fire pit for taking in ocean views any time of year. The fully furnished and well-equipped cabanas each feature a 42-inch high-definition TV, mini bar, ceiling fan, sectional lounge sofa, and USB power outlets. The hotel offers options for planners and attendees to gather poolside with cabana rental packages tailored to their needs.
The property will also welcome the newest addition to its event offerings: The Dunes, an elegant and adaptable outdoor pavilion located directly on Coligny Beach. Ideal for those looking for a dynamic event space with seaside views and on-property concerts, the brand-new space will feature picturesque sunset and oceanfront views. Blending natural beauty with modern interpretations of Lowcountry style, the versatile new space features intricate detailing and memorable architectural character. The lighting at the new venue was designed with careful consideration of nearby nesting turtles, to disturb them as minimally as possible. When not reserved for events, attendees will be welcome to get out of the sun and play large-format games including Connect Four and Jenga at The Dunes.
The newest chapter for the resort will also include a lineup of new partners and exclusive events that will be announced following the completion of construction. In celebration of the relaunch, Beach House is sharing its Friends of Beach House offer, an exclusive savings of 15% year-round.
