Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, debuted its Foundry Fieldhouse Sports Bar & Taproom in mid-April, part of the resort’s ongoing multiphase transformation. The two-level venue features an extensive beer program and several indoor and outdoor event spaces for planners to consider for luncheons, receptions, meetings, and other gatherings.
“In planning Foundry Fieldhouse, we leveraged expertise from across our portfolio to create a distinctive, high‑energy venue that seamlessly accommodates large groups while remaining inviting and flexible for leisure guests,” says Mark Fioravanti, president and CEO of Nashville-based Ryman Hospitality Properties Inc. (the property’s owner), in a prepared statement. “This new amenity represents the first milestone in our multiyear property refresh at Gaylord Opryland as we continue to elevate the guest experience through thoughtfully curated, regionally inspired offerings.”

The sports bar’s design includes 13 custom works created by area artists, including murals, sculptures, and mixed-media pieces; each piece pays homage to Nashville’s sports history by depicting elements like historic stadium signage, archival photography, classic athletic gear, and Tennessee landscapes. On tap are 16 beers spanning regional favorites, other craft standouts, and international classics. A venue exclusive is pouring as well: the Foundry Fieldhouse Tennessee Lager, created in partnership with Tennessee Brew Works. The custom brew blends a crisp Tennessee lager style with a blonde India Pale ale. When it comes to bar fare, the new hub’s menu offers pub cuisine that pairs familiar favorites with quality, locally sourced ingredients, such as its homemade Bavarian pretzel and a bold Nashville hot chicken sandwich.
On its main level, the Tasting Room private space features rich wood flooring and flexible seating for intimate gatherings. Outdoors, several areas are available to rent: The Foundry Fieldhouse Beer Garden fits up to 60, the District Yard is an expansive event lawn for up to 1,500, the District Pavilion delivers a covered option, and the District Grove is a peaceful area with lush surroundings for smaller groups.
