Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park in Atlanta, Georgia, was named one of the “Top 250 Meeting Hotels in North America” by meeting and event technology company Cvent. Its list spotlights properties that attract significant group business across the continent—rankings are based on sourcing activity through the Cvent Supplier Network.
The Atlanta hotel recently completed a comprehensive renovation and rebranding; its name changed from Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center to Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park after the broadcasting company moved its operations out of downtown and the center itself renamed.
“We are thrilled to embark on this transformative journey,” says Ramon Reyes, general manager at Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, in a prepared statement. “This renovation and rebranding effort symbolize our commitment to providing unparalleled hospitality experiences while honoring the vibrant spirit of Atlanta. With refreshed accommodations and uniquely themed suites, we look forward to welcoming guests from near and far to indulge in the essence of our city.”
The centerpiece of the renovation is the complete refurbishment of 600 guest rooms in its North Tower, including updated nightstands inspired by luggage, statement carpets, bold black-and-white linens, and illustrative wall coverings. In addition to the upgraded room designs, Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park is introducing a collection of signature suites that celebrate Atlanta’s iconic attractions, landmarks, and culture. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the vibe of the city through themed suites such as the Georgia Aquarium Suite, College Football Hall of Fame Suite, and the Coca-Cola Suite.
“Being named a Cvent ‘Top Meeting Hotel’ has become a badge of honor for properties around the world because the recognition positions them as a highly sought-after group business hotel and serves as a proof point of their commitment to supporting event organizers and delivering incredible experiences,” says Bharet Malhotra, senior vice president of Cvent’s Hospitality Cloud. “The hotels on this year’s lists have embraced technology to capitalize on the strong in-person event and business travel growth, while prioritizing planner and attendee satisfaction. Congratulations to the team at Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park on this well-deserved accolade.”
