Attendees are all about “destination authenticity” these days, the idea that the unique flavor of a meeting locale should be a key component of the agenda and not overlooked. The new Three Maries Jazz Club at the Omni Royal Orleans hotel in New Orleans’ French Quarter gives planners one more avenue to infuse meetings with the culture of the Big Easy, with shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from celebrated area artists and more.
The 68-seat venue—named after prominent French royalty figures Marie Mancini, Maria Theresa, and Marie Louise—debuted in late January and features dark walls, subtle floral touches, and rotating lineup of New Orleans talent. Regular performers will include Or Shovaly Plus, a guitar-based jazz, funk, and soul band known for channeling the golden era of soul and jazz with infectious rhythms and upbeat energy, and the Glen David Andrews Band, a powerful ensemble that blends jazz, gospel, rock, blues, and funk. Frequent brass-band performances and live piano sets also will grace the Three Maries stage, with a lively second-line brass band taking over on Fridays to bring the atmosphere of New Orleans’ vibrant streets into the lounge.

The venue also offers an exclusive food-and-beverage menu and elevated cocktail program. Signature cocktails include Dust N’Bones, with Crystal Head Vodka, lime syrup, and truffle dust, as well as the Caviar and Champagne cocktail, with crème fraîche Absolut Vodka, house-made Champagne vermouth, lemon bitters, and Osetra caviar. Small plates highlight elevated takes on New Orleans classics, including Jambalaya Arancini with chicken and andouille sausage.
Steps away, The Royal Bar in the hotel lobby also debuted with a horseshoe-shaped brass bar, marble and wooden floors, and lime-washed walls with black trim—one more space for attendees to mingle in and network during downtime.
The hotel’s meeting and event spaces span about 14,000 square feet of flexible space, including the recently renovated 4,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom for up to 400. Renovations to the ballroom completed in November last year can be seen through an updated aesthetic that incorporates elements of French sophistication through subtle ceiling details, neutral tones, and soft taupe and gray carpeting.
