The Pearl Hotel Offers European Charm

Host a gathering like no other along the Gulf Coast.

The patio dining offered at The Pearl’s Havana Beach Bar & Grill looks out to breathtaking views of the ocean.

The Pearl

Located along the Gulf of Mexico in South Walton, Florida, sits The Pearl, a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel. Its proximity to the white sand beaches and emerald sea of the gulf is the star of the show. However, David Demarest, director of public relations and communications for The St. Joe Company, which manages the property, says that its unique architecture and the walkable cobble stone streets it lines are key characteristics that make this hotel a premier destination. “It feels like you’re in a little town in Europe without a passport or a language barrier,” Demarest says.

The elegant 55-room hotel is also near a variety of natural spaces beyond the beach. Along Scenic Highway 30A, between Panama City Beach and Destin, Florida, it is in proximity to Grayton Beach State Park, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, and Deer Lake State Park.

Amenities at The Pearl include an 18+ pool area, free beach setup on the hotel’s private beach, free kayak and bike rentals, access to private golf courses, and valet parking. In addition, The Pearl is also home to Havana Beach Bar & Grill, an eatery inspired by the tropical cuisine of the Caribbean and Gulf Coast regions. The restaurant provides indoor seating in the main dining room and adjacent lounge and alfresco seating arrangements on the veranda and rooftop deck.

Need space to host your next meeting or event? The Pearl offers almost 3,500 square feet of flexible indoor and 5,000 square feet of outdoor space for visitors to connect in style. The five venues—Havana Beach Rooftop and Deck, the Hemingway Room, the Pearl Ballroom, the Pearl Foyer, and the Pilar Boardroom—offer custom-tailored event planning equipped with the option for catering, team-building opportunities, and updated audiovisual technology.

“[The Pearl] is a really different place to have a meeting, but it is something that guests will never forget,” Demarest says.
