Southeast Florida’s Palm Beach County—which contains the cities of Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, among others—is home to beautiful beaches, two downtown convention center districts, 17,000 guest rooms, and a pleasant average temperature of 78 degrees year-round. Planners take note—four hotel properties in the county have upped their game for gatherings.

In West Palm Beach, The Ben Hotel, Autograph Collection, launched a new yacht experience this July in partnership with PorterYachts, a yacht charter company based in Hollywood, Florida. Planners now have the opportunity to book luxury group cruises through the hotel that embark right from Palm Harbor Marina across the street and come complete with a dedicated crew and bartender, private chef, Champagne welcome, and curated menus.

Closed since 2005, the historic Gulfstream Hotel, Lake Worth Beach, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, in Lake Worth Beach is reopening later this year after undergoing a dramatic transformation (official opening date yet to be announced). Originally built in 1925, the iconic landmark will now include The Big Fin LWB, a coastal seafood restaurant and bar; two flexible meeting rooms; and a second-floor rooftop terrace designed for gatherings of up to 100 attendees.

The final phase of renovations is now underway at Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa in Riviera Beach, with all 192 one- and two-bedroom suites set to debut a modern coastal aesthetic and elevated, contemporary finishes by early next year. The resort’s multimillion-dollar update has been underway since 2022, refreshing the lobby, grab-and-go food marketplace, oceanfront restaurant and bar, pool areas, fitness center, porte cochere, and meeting and event spaces.

A sophisticated refresh of the West Palm Beach Marriott’s meeting spaces and guest rooms was completed this spring. The hotel now offers 16 venues with over 17,000 square feet of flexible space, including its 6,615-square-foot Regency Ballroom (one of the largest ballrooms in West Palm Beach), 13 breakout rooms, a boardroom, and an updated covered outdoor pavilion. Guest rooms at the hotel also have been renovated with a design inspired by Florida’s breathtaking sunsets and now feature refreshed workstations with ample desk space.
