This dramatic two-story gathering space (pictured below) features a suspended sculpture and a distinctive three-sided glass pyramidal roof, creating an impressive and memorable backdrop for networking, receptions, and events.
When construction is completed early 2027, the convention center will introduce several new amenities, including a junior ballroom, expanded and redesigned meeting rooms, an outdoor courtyard ideal for receptions and networking events, and a sophisticated executive boardroom complete with a private lounge and dedicated restrooms. These enhancements will provide planners with even greater flexibility when designing events of all sizes and formats.
Technology plays a major role in the venue’s modernization. Throughout the facility, digital displays provide event information and wayfinding, while customizable colored lighting allows planners to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. One of the most eye-catching additions is the two-story LED-wrapped elevator in the lobby, a dynamic visual centerpiece to the space. Together, these features contribute to a seamless and engaging experience for attendees from arrival to departure.
Located in Atlanta’s thriving Cumberland District, the convention center is surrounded by an 88-acre campus designed for convenience and entertainment. Attendees can easily walk to The Battery Atlanta, a vibrant sports and entertainment destination; many chef-driven and casual dining options; and 16 nearby hotels, with 3,000 guest rooms. Many of Atlanta’s most popular attractions are also just a short drive away, making it easy for attendees to explore the city before or after an event.
