The Alfond Inn at Rollins, an award-winning boutique hotel in the heart of Winter Park, Florida, celebrated its 10th anniversary this month. Now a go-to destination for lodging, dining, meetings, and weddings, the hotel is expected to grow with the unveiling of a new wing and spa later this year.
Owned by the neighboring Rollins College, The Alfond Inn is distinguished by its philanthropic mission, directing all net operating income toward scholarships. The AAA Four Diamond-rated hotel will boast 183 rooms upon completion of the new wing, The Spa, two pools, a 6,000-square-foot Amenity Deck, a newly renovated library, a fitness center, and 12,400 square feet of flexible meeting space. Also on the property are the award-winning Hamilton’s Kitchen restaurant and The Cafe.
Event spaces at The Alfond Inn include the 5,000-square-foot Park Avenue Ballroom; The Conservatory, featuring a domed glass ceiling and access to the hotel’s 10,000-square-foot courtyard; the Pool Veranda, which can accommodate up to 125 guests; two private dining rooms, which can accommodate up to 50; the 2,000-square-foot New England Meeting Room, which opens up onto the property’s south lawn; the 1,000-square-foot Boardroom; and more.
In honor of the hotel’s anniversary, The Alfond Inn is offering a 10-Year Celebration Package that includes accommodations for two nights, valet parking, champagne upon arrival, and one three-course dinner for two at Hamilton’s Kitchen.
