Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Offers Elevated Experiences

While there is a host of significant new hotels opening in Scottsdale and Phoenix, booking groups at resorts that are a proven entity with experienced staff provides a certain peace of mind. Especially when its Arizona’s largest and longest running AAA Five Diamond hotel. Fairmont Scottsdale Princess offers elevated experiences and has introduced its fair share of significant upgrades over the past few years.

The latest is Privado Villas, essentially a boutique hotel within a hotel that is set apart on the west end of the 65-acre property. Guests are shuttled by golf cart from the resort’s main entrance and lobby to Privado Villas’ private reception area, where they are greeted with a soft drink, local beer, or a glass of wine or bubbly while checking into one of the 119 studio and one-bedroom luxury suites.

Located in 14 villa pods, the one-bedroom suites are 850 square feet, while the studios are slightly smaller at 700 square feet. Suite refrigerators are stocked upon arrival with a bottle of sparkling wine, cold brew coffee, and water making the effort of travels melt away.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess offers additional elevated experiences at Privado Villas such as a private pool, dedicated concierge, morning delivery of fresh pressed seasonal juice and pastries, and complimentary access to Well & Being Spa, including a broad range of classes. Also included is valet parking and chauffer service within a 3-mile radius, including to and from Scottsdale Municipal Airport.

With a humidity-free climate in Scottsdale, outdoor suite patios are a nice way to start or end a day filled with meetings. Plus, large bathrooms with two vanities and walk-in showers make it a treat to get ready or retire for the evening.

Privado Villas are ideal for incentive trips, VIPs, and anyone who appreciates an elevated resort stay, but no one will miss out feeling the upscale vibe of the property. In total, Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has 750 guest rooms, four signature restaurants, seven swimming pools, and more than 316,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including two 23,000-square-foot ballrooms.

Groups that want to golf can simply go next door to the adjacent TPC Scottsdale, one of Scottsdale’s best-known golf courses and host of WM Phoenix Open, part of the PGA Tour. One of the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess restaurants, Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar, is located at TPC Scottsdale and has a large patio that is ideal for groups.

Other improvements at the hotel in recent years have included renovation of 458 standard guest rooms and 20 luxury suites and one of the largest pools on property, the Princess Pool, in 2019. The pool deck space was increased to provide lounge and cabana seating and offer a larger capacity for groups that want to savor views of the McDowell Mountains and TPC Scottsdale.
