Fontainebleau Las Vegas Executive Team Announced

On the heels of Fontainebleau Development and Koch Real Estate Investments securing a $2.2 billion construction loan to complete Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a team of professionals charged with opening the property by the end of 2023 is in place. The luxury 67-story hotel, gaming, entertainment, and meeting destination is located on north end of the Las Vegas Strip. Highlights include about 3,700 luxury hotel rooms, 550,000 square feet of convention space, shops, restaurants, nightlife options, pool experiences, and spa and wellness offerings.

Brett Mufson, President and Chief Executive Officer – In addition to serving as president of Fontainebleau Development, Mufson is leading Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Mufson’s leadership helped steer the company’s re-acquisition of the property in 2021 and reinvigorate the original strategic vision for Fontainebleau’s brand. He is responsible for guiding the development of one of the largest construction projects in the United States, steering every detail of design, operations, and guest experience.

Colleen Birch, Chief Operating Officer – In this role, Birch will oversee all operations and day-to-day performance of the property. She brings more than 25 years of experience in hotel operations, revenue optimization, and customer relationship marketing, most recently as senior vice president of revenue optimization at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. She helped opened The Cosmopolitan resort in 2010 and worked there for 13 years.

Stephen Singer, Chief Financial Officer – Born and raised in Las Vegas, Singer oversees operational strategy, content and programming, financial reporting and analysis, revenue optimization, processes and controls, and profitability for Fontainebleau Las Vegas. He was executive vice president of acquisitions and capital markets for Fontainebleau Development and previously worked in senior strategy roles for private real estate and development firm Witkoff, Paragon Gaming, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Daniel Espino, Chief People Officer – Espino is charged with developing the human capital strategy and working in partnership with executive leadership to design the property’s organizational culture and growth objectives. He served more than 12 years as chief people officer for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and has worked in human resources roles for Crunch Fitness, Morgans Hotel Group, and Ian Schrager Hotels.

Marc Guarino, Chief Technology Officer – Actively involved in the development and advancement of hospitality and gaming technologies for more than 25 years, Guarino brings a broad-based perspective to Fontainebleau Las Vegas. He has served as senior vice president and chief information officer of Atlantis Paradise Island and worked in global and regional senior roles for Alon Leisure Management, sbe, Cenium Hospitality, Colony Resorts, and Wynn Resorts.

Stacie Michaels, General Counsel – Until recently, Michaels was a partner at Argentum Law in Las Vegas. Prior to that role, she spent 10 years with Wynn Las Vegas, where she began as corporate counsel and rose to the rank of senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. She oversees all legal matters for Fontainebleau Las Vegas, including overseeing contracts, negotiations, and compliance while providing legal advice and strategy to the executive team.
