For meetings around the campfire or on horseback instead of around the table, head to the new Grand Canyon Glamping Resort located just minutes from the rim of Grand Canyon West in Arizona. The venue also can serve as an add-on excursion from gatherings based in the national park or from Las Vegas, only two hours away.
Set amidst a classic western landscape, Grand Canyon Glamping Resort offers an array of luxury camping accommodations, on-site dining from a gourmet food truck, and epic adventures such as helicopter, horseback, and ATV tours.
Lodging & Dining
With views of the Grand Canyon rim, the property combines the authenticity of outdoor camping near a national park with the comforts of a luxury resort. All tents, covered wagons, and tipis can accommodate up to six guests, depending on configuration, and are outfitted with plush bedding, heating and air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The wagons also have a full bathroom with a shower, while nearby restrooms are available with other lodging options.
Foods such as breakfast burritos, salads, sandwiches, and grilled burgers, steaks, and chicken are available from a food truck or guests and groups can book a chef to personalize their experience for an additional cost.
Activities & Transportation
There is no need to scramble and search for memorable activities as the resort currently offers helicopter, horseback riding, and ATV Tours. Helicopter tours take passengers on a 20-minute flight directly over the Grand Canyon, flying 4,000 feet above the Colorado River.
If your team would rather stay on the ground for an intimate view of the landscape, check out the one-hour horseback ride that explores wildlife habitats and ranch terrain or book an overnight adventure. Private group horseback experiences can be customized to include rodeo events, horsemanship clinics, roping, team pinning events, and other horse activities.
Another option on the ground (and hopefully not in the air) is one-hour ATV tours that wind through Joshua Tree Forest on a variety of terrain and provide spectacular Grand Canyon views from the edge of the West Rim.
For groups and guests booking at least one of these add-on tours, Grand Canyon Glamping Resort provides complimentary shuttle service from most Las Vegas Strip hotels. Visitors only booking stays at the resort can purchase round-trip transportation starting at $175.
