This winter, visitors to Salt Lake City, Utah, will discover a fresh new favorite home base for events. Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown launched an extensive multimillion-dollar makeover spanning the property’s guest rooms, dining outlets, lobby, fitness center, and pool. The project is expected to be comple, just in time to take advantage of the winter sports season.
Salt Lake City’s tourism market has boomed in recent years, bringing several new hotels, retail stores, and entertainment venues to the city’s downtown. In response, the recent investment in elevating Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown will better position the property to meet the increased demand for rooms and continue to rival the expanding hospitality market.
Hale Collective, the design firm behind the project, will let the nearby Wasatch Mountains serve as the inspiration for the hotel’s new look. Through organic shapes, natural textures, and colors inspired by Salt Lake City’s mountain views, the design team will seamlessly integrate a contemporary-yet-comfortable aesthetic with that of the surrounding area throughout the property.
The most noteworthy change at the property will be the addition of a new Executive Club Lounge. Conveniently located near the lobby, guests staying in Executive Club Level rooms and suites will have access to a high-end chef’s kitchen serving a daily breakfast bar, evening canapés, and all-day snack offerings. The exclusive new space will feature community tables and lounge spaces with a modern and bright atmosphere.
The Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown will also welcome new and updated dining concepts, including Coffee & Market, a coffee bar concept serving Starbucks coffee and a daily selection of breakfast goods. A newly designed market will stand alongside it offering convenience to guests or quick, hearty options for locals on the go. Copper Canyon Grill House & Tavern, the hotel’s on-site restaurant will also receive a few new upgraded touches as part of the exciting changes to arrive at the property, including the expansion of a seasonal patio.
