Sky Rock Sedona launched in mid-March following a propertywide transformation and transition to a Tribute Portfolio hotel by Marriott. Managed by Remington Hospitality, the 109-room boutique hotel and its buzzy dining hot spot, Bar WooWoo, joins Tribute Portfolio’s growing global family of characterful, independent hotels drawn together by a passion for captivating design and a drive to create vibrant social scenes for guests and locals alike.

Perfectly positioned within the destination, the hotel is centrally located in town yet within walking distance to many trails—Sky Rock is the perfect launchpad for attendees looking to embark on days filled with adventures. The property’s stunning 360-degree views of Sedona’s Red Rocks are unmatched, with epic panoramic views of Snoopy Rock, Thunder Mountain, and Coffee Pot Rock, among other formations.
Led by Dauntless Development, headquartered in Los Angeles, in collaboration with La Jolla-based design agency, Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence, and Los Angeles-based firm, SANDdesign, Sky Rock Sedona was transformed into a modern, contemporary retreat that boasts a sleek and sophisticated style that melds harmoniously with the soulful spirit of Sedona. Each of Sky Rock’s guest rooms are purposefully designed to be a sanctuary for guests to retreat to—characterized by neutral tones, handmade leather headboards, minimalist furnishings, custom-made locally inspired artwork, and serene lighting. As a contrast, the lobby is bold and vibrant—featuring exemplary artwork, amethyst-encrusted and wood walls, cozy velvet booths, and statement furniture pieces that inspire and embody Sedona in a modern and artful way.

Bar WooWoo is Sky Rock Sedona’s signature eatery, which features a menu that boasts Southwestern-inspired tapas, the Green Chile Tamale, Navajo Taco, and Prickly Pear Glazed Pancita with spicy chicharron “dust,” tangy prickly pear sauce, quinoa pilaf, and nopal cactus. Bar WooWoo boasts a terrace design with a promenade deck for unrivaled views, day and night, alongside custom handcrafted furniture and art. The space features an abundance of lounge seating and offers both indoor and outdoor dining options, providing guests with the choice to enjoy their meals in either a cozy indoor setting or amid the refreshing outdoor ambience, year-round. Bar WooWoo’s beverage program is innovative in design with creative cocktails alongside local beers and wines.

- Moonrise Ceremony: To celebrate the magic as the Sedona sun sets and the moon rises, Sky Rock Sedona invites guests to partake in its one-of-a-kind “Moonrise Ceremony” each evening at Bar WooWoo. The Moonrise ritual incorporates a gong made specially for the hotel, a ceremonial speech, and complimentary tastings of Bar WooWoo’s signature Mezcal Moonrise concoction, which uses Mezcal Union, as it is known to have deep spiritual magnetism; agave lime mix; blueberry pea tea syrup; and pineapple juice—it is topped with a pineapple garnish that is lit on fire. During this ceremony at Sky Rock Sedona, guests are invited to come up to hit the gong themselves to clear their energy.
- On-Call Pet Psychic: As part of Sky Rock’s commitment to holistic well-being, guests have access to an on-call pet psychic.
