The Global Ambassador hotel opened in the Phoenix, Arizona, area this December, and the highly anticipated luxury hotel exudes the tastes and sophistication of Sam Fox, the restauranteur and hospitality innovator behind parent company, Author & Edit Hospitality, based in Phoenix. Situated where Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley converge, the 141-room hotel features Juliet balconies from every room overlooking Camelback Mountain and the Sonoran Desert.

“The hotel is oriented around its plaza courtyard, with a sprawling lawn accented with lush, verdant landscaping and inviting seating that encourages guests to relax and unwind,” says Managing Director and General Manager Geoff Gray. “Upon arrival, guests will find themselves drawn into the high-style, high-design lobby. With an open feel, the energy will emanate throughout the first level.”

Arizona artist Michael Carson created emotive original paintings for the hotel, and Kelly Croteau of Mason Plage curated an exclusive assemblage of distinctive books throughout the property, including titles on style, design, photography, art, and fashion.

Plus, the restaurants of The Global Ambassador will provide a “culinary experience second-to-none,” Gray says. They include five dining establishments, ranging from Le Âme, a Parisian steakhouse, to theà Mediterranean Rooftop with its distinctive cocktails, Mediterranean bites, and breathtaking views of the surrounding desert.

“With food and beverage being at the center of The Global Ambassador, we are able to provide a one-of-a-kind culinary experience for each of our attendees,” Gray says. The hotel features numerous distinctive indoor-outdoor event spaces with room for eight to 450 meeting-goers.
