Held at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, N.C., The Special Events Company recently debuted the 2017 North Carolina CEO Forum. The planning, logistics and on-site operation of the leadership forum was led for the eighth consecutive year by the Cary-based company. This year’s event was focused mainly on Innovation and Leadership in Healthcare which brought more than 400 CEO’s and executives from organizations and companies around the United States.
Meetings are shifting away from the traditional and moving towards new, modern, and fun spaces that allow creativity and innovation to flow freely. Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., started a new meeting initiative, called ideate sessions.
The creative, fun, colorful nature of children inspired these meeting sessions. Ideate sessions are approved by kids, and made for those who are kids at heart. Researchers have found that bright, fun spaces encourage increased creativity and productivity.
