Teneo Hospitality Group has added six new luxury properties to its growing portfolio. The hotels are all part of The Dedica Anthology collection located in Europe's most visited cities.

"The Dedica Anthology is a perfect complement to Teneo as it provides our clients with the epitome of a luxury group experience in Europe’s most important and unique destinations. While Teneo has exceptional hotels in a number of European cities, Dedica allows us to expand into even more cities such as Budapest, Nice and others," says Mike Schugt, president of Teneo.

These new properties are targeted toward the incentive market, executive meetings and corporate events. Their locations make activities and historical sites easily accessible for incentive group trips.

"The properties occupy exceptional landmark buildings in key European cities. We love that they fuse together the heritage of the old and bring in this new contemporary vibe that creates a unique experience for attendees," Schugt says. "The brand put together a very ambitious plan to renovate and restore these gorgeous properties and it’s paying off with absolutely stunning and superior hotels. They have creativity, experience and impeccable service, you can’t go wrong."

Schugt says the Italian words "Dedica" and "Teneo" imply dedication, devotion, persistence and perseverence. "All of which we practice every day when working with the hospitality community. Teneo and The Dedica Anthology are dedicated to creating the perfect experience for meeting planners and their attendees," he adds.

The U.S. Travel Association has called the current moment the “Great Travel Depression,” in light of the economic effects resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.

Due to COVID-19, non-essential travel was, or has been, banned for months. Long anticipated trips and in-person gatherings were canceled and people have adjusted to the new normal: staying at home and meeting over Zoom. However, states have been slowly lifting restrictions, and non-essential travel will soon be happening across the country again. However, some may not be as comfortable with the thought of traveling as they were before the pandemic.

Portland will be home to the first Ritz-Carlton in the Pacific Northwest. Developer BPM Real Estate Group is bringing the brand to the city, with an anticipated opening in early 2023. Plans call for a 35-story tower with 251 hotel rooms and 138 residential units, including eight penthouses.
