Curator Hotel & Resort Collection of Bethesda, Maryland, has added four hotels to its growing portfolio of properties and unique experiences across the U.S this year. The new member properties include an art-filled sanctuary in the vibrant city of Richmond, Virginia; a historic retreat in the heart of Texas Hill Country; a lodge-style experience in Branson, Missouri; and a mix of small-town charm and modern amenities in Parker, Colorado.

“We are excited to continue building and expanding relationships with unique, independent properties across premier U.S. travel destinations,” says Jennifer Barnwell, president of Curator Hotel & Resort Collection, in a prepared statement. “Whether fully operational or in various stages of development, Curator’s suite of solutions and offerings can benefit any hotel or resort property, helping it optimize operations and allocate more resources to focus on creating unforgettable guest experiences and perfecting the ‘stay of the art.’”

The newest members of Curator Hotel & Resort Collection include:

Quirk Hotel Richmond (Richmond, Virginia): Built in 1916, the Quirk Hotel was once J.B. Mosby & Co. Dry Goods Store with an Italian Renaissance design, filled with natural light and historic charm. In 2005, owners Katie and Ted Ukrop converted a portion of the ground floor into the Quirk Gallery, an offbeat hub showcasing local and regional artists. In 2015, they turned the property into a boutique hotel where they could attract artists and guests. The 73 guest rooms and suites are designed with local artwork, ensuring a one-of-a-kind experience for each guest. Quirk Richmond allows guests to discover local artists throughout the boutique space and enjoy meals crafted from local ingredients. The hotel is in the heart of one of Richmond’s most dynamic neighborhoods and offers easy access to various attractions and shopping destinations. Don’t miss The Q Rooftop, recognized as one of the “10 Best Rooftop Bars in the U.S.” by Condé Nast Traveler in 2016.

Albert Hotel (Fredericksburg, Texas): Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, Texas, features four late-19th-century buildings and a newly constructed hotel with event and restaurant space, as well as a spa. Tucked away behind the original historic buildings, the property creates a peaceful escape with quiet sophistication just off bustling Main Street. The hotel has 109 guest rooms, including bunkrooms, suites, and a private house; three restaurants; two bars; and a full-service spa. Albert Hotel is slated to open later this year.

The Ozarker Lodge (Branson, Missouri): Recognized as one of USA Today’s top 10 “Best New Hotels Across the U.S.” this year, The Ozarker Lodge is the first authentic boutique hotel experience in its region. The Ozarker brings back the nostalgia of family road trips, the thrill of outdoor adventure, and the charm of an evening by the creek. The hotel offers renovated rooms with vintage-themed decor; an outdoor pool; creekside soaking tubs; an on-site coffee, wine, and cocktail bar; a mercantile shop; outdoor adventures; and much more. Conveniently located in the heart of Branson, this hotel provides guests with a unique, modern way to experience the Ozarks.

Ascent on Main (Parker, Colorado): A new luxurious space in Parker, Colorado, Ascent on Main offers 51 guest rooms with timeless decor and subtle touches of Parker’s history throughout. The hotel offers many dining options including the signature restaurant, The Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails, featuring artisanal cuisine and a thoughtful environment inviting guests to congregate, share stories, and revel in a relaxing atmosphere. Centrally located, Ascent on Main also provides guests with locally inspired and meaningful experiences with access to explore the historic city, hike through parks and trails, or visit the outstanding golf clubs. Ideal for group gatherings, special occasions and wedding receptions, the hotel’s friendly, knowledgeable staff offers exceptional service to ensure every event is memorable.
