A collaborative effort between two prominent Dallas-based companies, NewcrestImage and Dabu Group, has successfully completed the acquisition of the full-service Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth Westlake. This popular hotel boasts an architectural design by the renowned Mexican architect, Ricardo Legorreta, celebrated for his use of vibrant hues, the interplay of light and shadow, and strong geometric forms.
Situated in a strategically advantageous location, the Marriott offers convenient access to corporate offices, the historic downtown area of Grapevine, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Other nearby destinations include the Texas Motor Speedway, the Fort Worth Stockyards, and the bustling Southlake Town Square shopping district, home to 120 upscale stores.
The Marriott, slated for a comprehensive renovation, currently offers a total of 294 rooms, many of which feature private balconies. Amenities include a concierge level with an exclusive private lounge, the upscale Solana Greatroom for fine dining, a Starbucks coffee shop, an outdoor pool, a well-equipped business center, and 15,000 square feet of versatile meeting space to facilitate a wide range of events and gatherings.
NewcrestImage boasts a diverse and extensive portfolio that encompasses more than 70 hotels situated across the United States, collectively offering nearly 8,000 rooms to guests. Since its establishment in 2013, the company has played a pivotal role in orchestrating transactions exceeding a remarkable $3 billion in value. The company has introduced innovative and highly profitable concepts that include dual-brand properties, the adaptive re-use of historic buildings, and the creation of dynamic “lifestyle hotel campus” neighborhoods.
