The 2023 meeting experience for groups at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa has been upgraded as part of the resort’s anniversary and to celebrate its completed renovation. When groups book their programs this year on the 300-acre property in San Antonio, they’ll receive special perks and bonuses.
The resort recently completed an impressive $50 million renovation of its meeting spaces and guest rooms. The indoor meeting venues, including the ballrooms and all breakout rooms, have new carpeting, wall coverings, light fixtures, and sound systems. The design incorporates natural elements like stone and warm wood tones that are inspired by the surrounding landscape. The renovation extends to the resort’s 500 guest rooms and suites, ensuring updated and refreshed accommodations for event guests. In addition to the indoor meeting spaces, the resort offers outdoor venues, including a spacious lawn, covered pavilion, and several terraces, totaling 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
Team-building and leisure activities at the resort are plentiful. Organizers can choose from beach-themed activities with the surf simulation machine and a sandy game of beach volleyball, golf tournaments at the 27-hole golf club, spa and yoga packages, and Texas-themed experiences including line dancing lessons, cowboy hat fittings, and barbecue.
Groups who reserve their meetings by Dec. 29, 2023, for events taking place before Dec. 31, 2026, can enjoy multiple event enhancements. These enhancements include complimentary standard Wi-Fi in the event space, triple qualifying World of Hyatt points, a one-hour complimentary wellness activity for all attendees, a complimentary upgrade for every 40 rooms booked at the group rate, or a complimentary upgrade to the next level of the hosted bar package. The number of enhancements varies depending on the number of peak room nights, ranging from one enhancement for groups with 10 to 25 rooms to five enhancements for groups with over 301 rooms.
