In mid-October, Hall Park Hotel, Autograph Collection, opened in Frisco as part of the Hall Park mixed-use development. It marks the first Marriott Autograph Collection hotel to open in the city. Overlooking Kaleidoscope Park, Frisco’s new 6-acre green space, the hotel features world-class art, elevated dining, and premium accommodations and event spaces. The property is owned by Dallas-based Hall Group and operated by Coury Hospitality.

Hall Park Hotel contains over 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, 60 apartment-style suites, an outdoor pool with rooftop bar, and expansive patio overlooking Kaleidoscope Park. Kaleidoscope Park is home to Butterfly Rest Stop, a large art installation by American artist Janet Echelman that echoes the form, patterns, and colors of milkweed flowers. The hotel’s flagship dining establishment, Palato Italian Kitchen and Lounge, opened in early November.

“When planning our long-term vision for Hall Park, we identified the need for a full-service, upscale boutique hotel in the heart of our new mixed-use development phase,” says Craig Hall, chairman and founder of Hall Group, in a prepared statement. “Great thought went into every detail of the Hall Park Hotel, from the diverse art collection to the food and beverage offerings, and we look forward to welcoming both visitors to Frisco and locals to enjoy all the hotel and adjacent park have to offer.”

The hotel’s 224 guest rooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows and modern art and decor inspired by the natural beauty and local flora and fauna of North Texas. The property’s 60 suites are located in a section called The Reserve, which encompasses four private floors designed for extended-stay business or leisure travelers. Each suite has a full kitchenette, private balcony with panoramic views of Kaleidoscope Park, bespoke furnishings, and on-site laundry amenities.

The hotel’s indoor and outdoor event spaces also house many works of art; notably, its Gallery Ballroom contains a custom, hand-blown glass light installation created by well-known Texas artist Carlyn Ray. Art tours of the hotel led by an expert team member are available upon request.
