Situated along the Colorado River in Lost Pines just southeast of Austin, the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa opened its newest event venue—the Riverbend Barn—in early April. The 6,076-square-foot barn features an A-frame structure and blends a rustic and modern design with vaulted ceilings, tall windows, and indoor/outdoor access. The venue’s catering menu highlights open-fire cooking.
“Riverbend Barn is more than just an event space,” says Dustin Imbesi, director of sales and marketing at the resort, in a prepared statement. “It’s a place to come together, celebrate, and connect. We’re thrilled to offer this new venue to both local guests and visitors, providing a versatile space for everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale events, and to see it become a beloved part of the Texas community.”
In addition, the barn provides 2,300 square feet of patio space, as well as a 3,000-square-foot event lawn. The venue is located near the resort’s Butterfly Meadow; Hummingbird Garden; and the Lost Pines Corral, the latter of which houses a collection of animals including miniature horses, donkeys, longhorn cattle, goats, alpacas, and pigs. Between meetings, attendees can compete in friendly games of giant Jenga, cornhole, ladder golf, pickleball, basketball, or a variety of arcade games in the Bearstrap Game Room.
Additional meeting spaces at the resort include the Lost Pines Grand Ballroom, available for up to 1,000 people; the 7,616-square-foot Baron’s Ballroom; the LBJ Pavilion and Riverside Deck for up to 400 attendees; as well as Founders Hall, Leatherstocking Hall, Riversong Lawn, Wildflower Pavilion, and more.
