Fairmont Dallas recently welcomed a furry, four-legged executive to its C-suite. Bondi, an 8-month-old rescue dog, was adopted a few months ago from local animal shelter Operation Kindness. After graduating summa cum laude from a four-week intensive training program, Bondi was promoted to chief happiness officer (CHO) for the hotel in April.
“Bondi’s role as CHO was born out of the vision to enhance the overall experience of guests with positivity and joy,” says Yoke Yong, director of talent and culture at Fairmont Dallas. “As a pet-friendly hotel with experience in welcoming dogs and cats of all sizes, we saw the addition of Bondi as a natural extension of our hospitality ethos.”
On a typical workday, Bondi can be found welcoming guests in the hotel lobby, mingling with visitors exploring the Dallas Arts District, engaging in hotel activities, or volunteering with local organizations. “Bondi’s experience at work has been incredibly positive. Her infectious positivity and commitment to spreading joy have had a notable effect on the hotel and our guests,” says Yong. “She has become a beloved member of the Fairmont Dallas family, contributing to the unique charm that defines the hotel.”
Bondi brings a touch of stress relief and playfulness to hotel gatherings, and guests can invite her to attend their own meetings and events. Fairmont Dallas offers over 70,000 square feet of meeting space, banquet catering services, and a rooftop pool terrace.
