The Chifley, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is open after a full renovation that has resulted in refreshed design and updated interiors. Located in Uptown Houston, the hotel also has a new destination dining establishment, Rouse, which opened its doors in January. Managed by Driftwood Hospitality Management, the property features a variety of amenities that make it an ideal location for guests looking for world-class shopping, dining, and meeting experiences in the heart of the city.
The hotel boasts 284 suites with subtle details and welcome amenities such as in-room Lavazza espresso and coffee and Nest bath products. Guests enjoy a 24-hour on-site fitness center, year-round outdoor pool, and whirlpool, along with on-site valet and ample self-parking. The hotel is also pet-friendly for those wishing to bring furry friends. According to Brett Orlando, managing director of The Chifley, the hotel will offer a sense of authenticity not often found in hotels, with a personality as bold as the people of Houston. The Chifley will curate partnerships with local businesses and non-profits to provide guests with an opportunity to experience a special collection of local art, products, brews, and bites.
For meetings, 8,000 square feet of flexible event spaces are also freshly renovated and designed for business and social gatherings. The new restaurant, Rouse, serves an eclectic mix of craft cocktails and cuisine with seating for 76 in the main dining area and 50 at the bar. The Executive Chef Ricardo Planas creates a fusion of Barbecue, Mexican, and Asian cuisine, bringing to life salty, smoky, sweet, and sour flavors that are sure to please every palate.
The Chifley participates in Hilton Honors, the award-winning guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s portfolio of 18 distinct hotel brands, boasting nearly 128 million members. Members who book directly will have access to instant benefits, including a flexible payment slider that allows members to choose nearly any combination of Points and money to book a stay, exclusive member discounts, free standard Wi-Fi, and access to the Hilton Honors mobile app.
The Chifley is managed by Driftwood Hospitality Management, a North Palm Beach-based hotel management company, which manages the property along with its 70 other hotels throughout the U.S.
