Housed in Dallas’ Main Street District, The Joule hotel welcomed the reopening of its CBD Provisions restaurant in mid-March following a months-long renovation and redesign led by interior design firm Swoon, the Studio, also located in Dallas. The transformed culinary destination focuses on classic Texas fare made with regionally sourced ingredients and French cooking techniques, and operations are led by Director of Culinary Sezer Deniz.
“CBD Provisions has long been about honoring local ingredients and our community,” says Deniz in a prepared statement. “With this reopening, we have refined that vision, creating a dining experience that is both familiar and fresh.”

Notable menu items include longtime favorites like pimento cheese toast and pig’s head carnitas, plus new options like the ancho beef bourguignon featuring slow-braised Texas beef in a red-wine reduction with ancho chili peppers, pearl onions, carrots, wild mushrooms, and horseradish spaetzle. Diners will find a complementary beverage menu with wines from Texas, California, and France; plus, craft beers by Dallas-Fort Worth brewers and inventive cocktails.

In addition to the reimagined food and beverage menu, the redesign of CBD Provisions is centered on preserving its industrial feel via exposed brick and steel beams while softening the space with vintage light fixtures and custom mosaic tile floors. The teams at The Joule and CBD Provisions are currently working out the best group capabilities for the restaurant, and more information will be released later. Planners can connect with the hotel ahead of their event to learn more about available group dining and catering options.
