A family-favorite vacation spot, Great Wolf Lodge, broke ground on a resort in Webster, about halfway between Houston and Galveston on the coast. Opening in 2024, the resort joins 21 other lodges across the country and is part of the largest group of indoor water park resorts in North America. Joining the Dallas-Fort Worth area’s Great Wolf Grapevine, the brand’s other property in Texas, this new 532-room hotel will sit on a 27-acre site and will feature a 95,000-square-foot indoor water park.
