The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio will debut several property additions this year, including new villas, a 20-acre Crystal Lagoon, and an indoor/outdoor event barn. These will launch as part of an ongoing, multiphase renovation project. The five new villas were completed in May; each is named after historic Texas Hill Country rivers—including Guadalupe, Brazos, and San Saba—and every villa spans 2,336 square feet with four bedrooms and a patio.

The lagoon is expected to be completed this September and will be a human-made water element to provide guests with an idyllic white-sand beach environment. The indoor/outdoor event barn will debut this November with 5,600 square feet overlooking the lagoon, plus high-vaulted ceilings, large windows, and abundant natural light.
