Leading one of Bayou’s most popular hotels, Jeffrey Fuller has joined the Royal Sonesta Houston as the general manager. Prior to this position, Fuller was employed by John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts and most recently, the Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center in South Carolina. There, as the general manager, he achieved the highest REVPAR increase in Embassy Suites’ Resort Division for 2013.
The Royal Sonesta Houston recently underwent a $30 million renovation, which focused on improving the meeting and event area of the 485-room property. The largest in the Galleria/Uptown area, the new space is 50,000 square feet and is suited for group, leisure and business travel.
The AAA Four-Diamond-rated hotel has 23 stories, several dining options, a swimming pool, 24-hour fitness facility. Only steps away from The Galleria mall and Post Oak Boulevard, it is also situated in close proximity to downtown, Memorial Park, Greenway Plaza, Highland Village and the Texas Medical Center.
