Shane Evans, the chief operating officer of Massage Heights, just appeared on an episode of CBS’s “Undercover Boss.” The episode, which aired Friday, Dec. 13, depicted Evans going undercover in four Massage Heights’ locations to examine what’s really happening at the family-owned company. During her time undercover, Evans performed four different jobs including retreat director, massage therapist, skin therapist and lifestyle consultant.
“This was an incredible experience, and I was humbled to work alongside some of our employees,” said Evans. “Massage Heights strives to ensure our Team Members are happy and that they enjoy their job – not just for the success of the business but because our family believes that people must love their job to be truly happy and healthy. This experience is going to help us do that.”
Massage Heights is using the lessons Evans gained from this experience as they move forward. The company is preparing to open its 100th location later this year, as well as launching a non-profit organization called the Heights Family Fund that will help employees in crisis situations by allowing them to apply for emergency relief.
