Omni Frisco Hotel Announces Impressive Lineup of Hospitality Veterans

The soon-to-open Omni Frisco Hotel in Dallas has announced the names of its new director of operations, director of finance, director of sales and marketing, director of engineering, director of human resources and neighborhood services general manager.

The hotel will open in July 2017. All of the announced positions will report to Jeff Smith, hotel general manager.

“The naming of our executive team is a huge milestone for the development and moves us even closer to the much-anticipated opening of the Omni Frisco Hotel, which will serve as a lifestyle hub for all of North Texas,” says Smith. “I have been with the brand for nearly 25 years and can say with confidence that this group represents some of the finest talent ever assembled in our industry.”

Lexy Coley will serve as the hotel’s director of operations. Coley has held several positions at the Omni Dallas Hotel. She is a graduate from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas where she graduated with a dual master’s degree in business and hotel administration, as well as a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration.

Director of finance will be Ken Woods, who was previously the dircetor of finance at the Omni Mandaly Hotel. He graduated from Southeastern Academy with a degree in hotel and motel management.

Gayla Guyse will take the positon of the hotel’s director of sales and marketing. In this role, Guyse will oversee all sales and marketing efforts. Guyse has served in many roles at the Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West, including director of sales and marketing, director of catering, and convention services and group sales manager.

The director of engineering with be Justin McNeely who has served as the director of engineering at the Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West since 2014.

Dave Ricci will serve as the director of human resources. Ricci was previously at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in human resources management and services from California State University-Long Beach.

Michael Salerno is the general manager for neighborhoodsServices. He will oversee all financial, managerial and operational aspects of the American fare dining establishment. Salerno was previously a general manager for neighborhood services in Addison, Texas.

Omni Frisco Hotel has announced details about its upcoming hiring fair, where more than 200 full- and part-time managerial, supervisory and hourly service positions are available. The three-day hiring fair will be held in the Ford Center at The Star Thursday, May 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m

The new hotel will feature 300 guest rooms and suites. There will be 24,000 square feet of meeting space, and a 13,000-square-foot ballroom.

The Omni Frisco Hotel will offer planners and attendees access to additional meeting and exhibit space in the Ford Center, as well as event space on the plaza.

Features of the hotel include neighborhood services, a lobby coffee and wine bar, and a rooftop pool bar and grill. The rooftop pool and deck located on the fourth floor will be able to serve 300 to 400 guests.
