The Pasadena Convention Center and Municipal Fairgrounds in Pasadena near Houston is undergoing a major overhaul to expand the center’s footprint and rename the venue to the Pasadena Arena & Convention Center. The revamped venue will open next spring and provide several necessary improvements to the almost 50-year-old venue, including modernized meeting rooms and additional parking. The arena will be 160,000 square feet with seating for 7,500 people, and, integrated with the existing convention center, the Pasadena Arena & Convention Center will boast 200,000 square feet.
