Steven Carl Joins Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa has appointed Steven Carl its new director of food and beverage. Carl joins the resort from City of Dreams Manila Resort in Paranaque, Philippines. 

As director of food and beverage, Carl will be responsible for the operations of each of the resort’s on-site restaurants including Stories Fine Dining, Firewheel Café, Shellers Barrelhouse Bar, McDade’s Coffee Emporium & Ice Cream Saloon, and Old Buck’s Place.  

Carl has worked with Hyatt Corporation for more than 24 years and has held executive chef and director of food & beverage positions at 11 properties throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean including Hyatt Regency Coral Gables, Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman, Hyatt Regency Miami, and Hyatt Regency Maui.  Carl worked in Central Texas previously as the food and beverage director at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa from 2011 to 2013.

Most recently, Carl spent his time in the Philippines and traveling extensively throughout Southeast Asia. He received his degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, and has also served as a member of Rotary International since 2017.
