Planners can take team building into the digital world by gathering their attendees at Immersive Gamebox in The Colony for high-tech bonding. Housed in the city’s Grandscape entertainment complex, the venue features private “gameboxes” in which participants play and compete in challenges reminiscent of childhood games like “The Floor Is Lava” and licensed from hit TV shows like “Squid Game.”
“Immersive Gamebox is an interactive entertainment experience that uses motion tracking, projection mapping, touch screens, and surround sound to transform group play into a fully immersive digital world,” says Annelise Holyoak, director of brand marketing at Immersive Gamebox, which is headquartered in London and has locations across the U.S. The venue accommodates private six-person game sessions and multiteam tournaments for larger groups. Bookings can include add-ons like food and beverage, branding and customization, and on-staff event hosts to assist.
