The Grand Lobby, the museum’s largest space, hosts up to 600 attendees in an elegant, one-of-a-kind setting. As attendees enter through the rotunda, they are greeted by a striking spiral staircase and a colorful terrazzo mosaic featuring characters from Texas’ past. The Bob Bullock Atrium is perfect for more intimate events, with space for up to 250. Events also might extend outside to the Lone Star Plaza in front of the museum, featuring a 35-foot bronze star sculpture and views of the new Texas Capitol Mall green space that connects The University of Texas at Austin with the Texas Capitol. As Texas’ official state history museum, the Bullock Texas State History Museum hosts events that could include the museum’s three floors of galleries, spanning 16,000 years of Texas history, from the first inhabitants to the Space Race and beyond.
