The global network specializing in luxury and experiential travel is based in Fort Worth, with additional offices in New York City, New York; Seattle, Washington; and Mexico City, Mexico; as well as China and Australia.
Sean Murphy, who brings extensive expertise in luxury travel and lifestyle marketing, has taken on the position of vice president for product marketing and strategy. His most recent role was as a senior managing director at Pace Communications, an integrated marketing agency, where he worked closely with clients like Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, PepsiCo, and Verizon. He also served as the creative head at Jetsetter, TripAdvisor’s luxury travel booking site, contributing significantly to shaping the brand’s vision. He has also held leadership roles with American Express Publishing, Hearst Magazines’ integrated media division.
Michael Moten has joined as vice president overseeing finance and accounting. His experience as an operational leader within financial teams spans five different industries, including a Fortune 10 company. Prior to joining Virtuoso, Moten played a pivotal role at Mattamy Corporation, the largest private homebuilder in North America, where he spearheaded a strategy that resulted in a remarkable 393% revenue increase within three years in the Dallas division. His professional journey also includes significant roles at PulteGroup, Americold Logistics, Carestream Health, and General Motors.
Rakesh Dewan, who has extensive global experience in the travel and tourism industry, is assuming the role of vice president in charge of global partner relations. Prior to joining Virtuoso, Dewan held executive positions at TripArc, CIE Tours International, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, and Tauck. At Tauck, he was instrumental in the successful launch of Tauck river cruising and played a crucial role in global product strategy as vice president overseeing worldwide operations.
