Times Square just got a bit more exciting with the announcement of The Pod Hotels flagship property, Pod Times Square opening this fall. The Pod Hotel collection’s wildly successful properties will see the addition of Pod Times Square, a BD Hotels property (The Mercer, The Marlton, The Bowery, The Maritime, The Greenwich). The innovative micro-hotel boasts the highest percentage of occupancy across the entire BD Hotels portfolio and will take things a set further this fall right in the center of New York City’s hustle and bustle.
Hyatt’s lifestyle hotel brand added a new hotel in the heart of New York City: Hyatt Centric Times Square New York; the new hotel made its debut in late October. Previously the Hyatt Times Square New York the hotel features 147 rooms and is a part of a group of Hyatt Centric lifestyle hotels that revolve around authenticity, simplicity and curiosity.
Hyatt Times Square New York announced their recently designed Salon Terrace, a year-round terrace open for meetings and events. Overlooking West 45th Street, the second floor Salon Terrace is flooded with natural light and provides the illusion of being outdoors.
Hotel Shocard in New York is debuting two new event spaces at their Times Square-based location.
These spaces feature a residential-like layout with terraces to give guests an indoor-outdoor experience. Design elements include brass hardware details, mirrors and fixtures, old-Broadway inspired marquee lighting and old print photographs. Guests also can make the room their own through personalizing the hotel’s marquee.
For food options, the hotel has its own restaurant, Gleason’s Tavern.
