• Two Roads Hospitality Wins Conde Nast Traveler’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards

Condé Nast Traveler magazine has recognized Two Roads Hospitality in 19 categories in the hotel and results section for their 29th annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

The Thompson Chicago has been declared the 14th best hotel in the world; second in the U.S.; and second in Chicago. Carmel Valley Ranch, a Joie de Vivre Hotel won first place as the top resort in Northern California and L’Auberge Del Mar, A Destination Hotel was the top hotel in Southern California. Additionally, The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, The Marker, a Joi de Vivre Hotel, Destination Hotels’ The Embassy Row and Wailea Beach Villas collectively won top 10 honors in their respective regions.

The votes were cast by more than 300,000 readers for 7,396 hotels, 606 cities, 500 cruise ships and 236 islands. The results list a total of 1,402 of the world’s greatest travel experiences.

The Majestic and Empire Theaters downtown San Antonio have announced a variety of upcoming entertainment experiences including theatrical performances, concerts, comedians and other live events.

 

Northern Lights travel expert Off the Map Travel has announced eight new “Aurora on the Water” experiences designed to capture the Aurora in a unique way. Running from September 2019 to March 2020, the eight program options feature views everywhere from a luxury yacht or kayak, on top of a frozen lake, looking down over the fjords, or drifting on the Arctic waters. The itineraries for each program can be personalized for the needs and optimal experience of each guest.

 

Hotel Vin and Harvest Hall, opening summer 2020, recently commemorated its topping out onsite of its Grapevine, Texas location. The ceremony celebrated the six-story, 120-room hotel and attached food hall as the gateway to Grapevine’s historic district. Ownership of Hotel Vin and Harvest Hall falls under Coury Hospitality and Vin Depot, dedicated to paving the path for Grapevine’s future.
