—1 oz. Bacardi Superior Rum
—1 oz. Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum
—.5 oz. Myer’s Dark Rum
—.5 oz. Salted spiced caramel

Line an Irish coffee glass or hot coffee mug with salted spiced caramel made with a good quality caramel and sea salt added. Pour first four ingredients into glass. Top with hot apple cider. Stir until ingredients are well mixed. Garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.

Laurus Corporation, a real estate investment and development firm, announced that the 285-room hotel, Vail Cascade Resort and Spa, will be rebranded and renamed.
The Former Vail Cascade Resort and Spa will reopen in early 2017 as Hotel Talisa, Vail. The name comes from the Native American word, which translates to beautiful water. The hotel honors the Southern Ute Indians, the Rocky Mountain’s original residents.

Boston Park Plaza has appointed Andrew Beer as their new executive chef. He will manage the hotel’s entire culinary program, including development for custom events and running the on-site restaurant, Off The Common.

Antlers at Vail hired Kim Rediker as the new assistant general manager. Rediker will replace former assistant general manager Magda King, who was promoted to general manager after Rob LeVine’s retirement.
Rediker has lived in Vail since 1992 and has experience working in Vail hospitality at places like Simba Run Resort, the Inn & Suites at Riverwalk and Tivoli Lodge.
