The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley is honored with a 2019 Smart Stars Award from Smart Meetings magazine as a Best Mountain/Ski Hotel.

Smart Meetings is now in its eighth year of recognizing hotels, resorts, cruise lines and convention centers through its Smart Stars Awards. The awards platform is based upon the choices of meeting professionals from 35 premier categories as they hand select the best properties across North America.

The Westin Riverfront relishes the award as well as its new Game Creek Boardroom. The new boardroom features mountain views and comfortably hosts up to 40 people. The Game Creek Boardroom adds to the property’s portfolio that includes the 4,000-square-foot Riverside Ballroom, 7,500 square feet of meeting and banquet space and the outdoor banquet terrace which expands 3,500 square feet.

The AAA Four Diamond property proves its dedication to wellness with its new Wellness Break programs. The Westin Riverfront invites meeting attendees to take advantage of its Sound Therapy Session or the Group Stretching Session. These two offerings allow groups to de-stress and unwind. In order to restore the body’s natural frequencies, the Sound Therapy Session features Himalayan singing bowls and light meditation. The Group Stretching Session gets meeting attendees moving with professional trainer led stretching that helps improve posture, productivity and relaxation.
