The Graduate Hotel Minneapolis’ partnership with Topgolf took off this October with the opening of its Swing Suite, the third Topgolf partnership with the Graduate Hotels brand since implementing the Swing Suite in the Graduate Lincoln and the Graduate Iowa City.

The Minneapolis suite includes three motion-censored bays where guests can play several Topgolf games like TopContender and TopPressure with the option to play additional games such as Zombie Dodgeball, Carnival Classic, and more. The suite is ideal for social events, corporate meetings, and even wedding rehearsal dinners with 20-30 attendees. The space includes lounge areas, a featured menu from The Beacon restaurant and a full-service bar.

“The Graduate Minneapolis’ Topgolf Swing Suite creates a great environment for hotel guests to experience unique activities without ever leaving the hotel,” says Graduate Minneapolis general manager Aaron Wicks. “When you can add breakouts and team-building experiences that you don’t have to go somewhere else to take part in, it becomes a point of differentiation that other hotels can’t duplicate.”

The Swing Suite is an exciting new alternative for guests staying at The Graduate Hotel Minneapolis to unwind from group meetings. The Graduate Minneapolis itself offers 304 hotel rooms, 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space including several breakout rooms, a private dining room that can accommodate up to 120 guests and two ballrooms. The larger of the two ballrooms can accommodate up to 350 guests for a seated event and 700 attendees for a reception

Recently added to OpenTable, guests can make reservations for the Swing Suite through OpenTable, online at The Graduates Hotel’s website, and in person at the front desk. The space is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday, but Wicks says they are hoping to expand this to all days of the week in the near future. Future plans also include an initiative to create packages for guests staying at the hotel to access the Swing Suite.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts announced it will be assuming management of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, marking the management company's first Hyatt-branded property. After recent renovations, Hyatt Regency Schaumburg will be the newest opportunity for Marcus to expand its market in the hotel industry in the greater Chicago and southern Wisconsin areas.

As the demand to conduct business events in The Palm Beaches continues to rise, the Palm Beach County Convention Center (PBCCC) has announced plans to increase its physical footprint to accommodate even more groups.
