Since 2008, the 20-acre Harley-Davidson Museum campus has been a must-see destination for guests from around the globe, both riders and non-riders alike. A campus makeover began last summer with the groundbreaking of a new, year-round event space. The all-new Garage is set to open this spring and will have more than 8,000 square feet of event space featuring 14-foot floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto the park-like campus and views of downtown and the Menomonee River.

In addition, a relocated and expanded Harley-Davidson Shop is set to offer additional products and new experiences, including demos on Serial 1 electric bikes for grownups and complimentary spins on IRONe electric balance bikes for kids. Also part of the makeover is a reinstalled Experience Gallery that includes inspiring stories, epic journeys, and the chance to perch on the new Harley-Davidson #FreedomMachine. 

The 1,300-acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva has launched several new immersive experiences for groups including competitive, social and seasonal teambuilding. The resort has 62,000 square feet of conference space and 356 guest accommodations, including rooms, suites and villas. 

“There’s an increased interest in leaving the Zoom calls behind in favor for more face-to-face meetings,” says Director of Sales and Marketing Brad Lyles. “Many companies are looking for creative ways to reconnect leaders and engage remote workers—and one of those strategies is the return of corporate retreat and leadership events.”

New teambuilding activities include a 5K walk/run on the resort’s property; Grand Trolley Bar Crawl through downtown Lake Geneva; Putt for Hunger, where each team designs one putting challenge made out of mostly nonperishable items that donated to a local food bank; and Buddy for Buddies to create toys for United Way.  

Lyles adds, “Building something together or doing something to help others is a feel-good way to reconnect with colleagues after spending so much time apart.”

The MGM Resorts Foundation awarded nearly $2 million in grants to nonprofit organizations located in communities around the country in which MGM Resorts operates, including Nevada; Michigan; Mississippi; New Jersey; New York; Ohio; Washington, D.C.; and Massachusetts. The foundation granted funding to organizations that provide basic needs services to community residents.
