The CCC currently offers 577,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space—a 14-acre room—all on one level. New features will include the Bluebird Ballroom with 80,000 square feet of flexible, column-free meeting and ballroom space, plus 35,000 square feet of pre-function space and a 20,000-square-foot outdoor terrace—all of which will be located on the roof of the existing building. Both the pre-function and outdoor event spaces will have spectacular, unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains and city skyline, allowing attendees to take advantage of Denver’s bluebird skies. Technology improvements will position the CCC as a best-in-class facility, keeping pace with current innovations and demand.
The new layout has been mindfully designed to allow for special networking spaces in addition to official exhibit or meeting room spaces. Every piece of furniture in the expanded CCC has been hand-selected to be weather-friendly—including furniture for the Rooftop Terrace that won’t fade in Denver’s 300 days of sunshine. The rooftop will also feature numerous electrical outlets to allow attendees to plug in wherever they need—all while enjoying both mountain and city views.
All 63 hotel-quality meeting rooms currently feature computer-controlled audio capabilities, fiber-optics, color-coordinated chairs and walls, deluxe carpeting, and top-quality lighting controls. The rooms range in size from a single meeting room of 800 square feet to combined meeting rooms of 10,000 square feet. The meeting rooms have service corridors to cut down on noise and are buffered from registration areas. Easy-to-read overhead signage, an efficient room numbering system, and numerous building maps make it simple to find rooms and navigate throughout the building.
